The salty dreams

Liguria Surf Weekend

Last weekend a friend and I drove down to Italy to surf some mediterean waves. It took us about 4 hours from Lucerne to the spot in Liguria. The swell was quit small when we arrived but we had a nice a session in the afternoon with some locals. We went for a pizza in the evening and went straight to bed, because of the next day.

The following day was epic. We surfed in the morning for two hours overhead waves with no wind. I was surprised how powerful the waves were. Then the Pros Leonardo Fioravanti, Conner and Parker Coffin turned up. These guys showed some amazing surf that afternoon. A lot of people came down the peer to watch the Pros surfing. Moreover a big camera crew was at the peer taking photos / videos.

The 2-days trip to Liguria was totally worth it. The delicious food, the warm weather and the epic waves made this trip a memorable adventure. Can’t wait to come back.
